Description

Details

High Power Glan Laser Polarizers produce linear polarized light from unpolarized input and is made of a higher grade calcite. The polarizer has two escape windows to allow the rejected beams to escape. Its entrance and exit faces are polished using deep grinding and polishing technique to minimize scattering from the surface.
For application with power less than 100 MW/cm2 this prism can be made from cheaper grade of calcite.
Features
  • Broadband high power polarizers for visible or near IR wavelengths
  • Air-spaced
  • Close to Brewster's angle cutting
  • High polarization purity
  • Short length
  • Double escape windows for intracavity use
